Allan W. Moskowitz

Allan W. Moskowitz AIF®, CFP®

Registered Investment Advisor Representative

Allan has over 30 years of experience in financial services and has been a pioneer in environmental and social justice investing since the late 1980s. After beginning his career in alternative medicine,
he moved to the Bay Area in 1997 to focus on Sustainable, Responsible, and Impact (SRI)/ESG investing as a Certified Financial Planner—well before it entered the mainstream. To Allan, the shift
from health care to financial planning was simply another way to help people align their values with their financial lives and wellbeing.

His passion for SRI investing began in the 1960s, inspired by the power of money to drive social change, including global movements such as the divestment campaign against Apartheid. Allan continues to advocate for using investments as a tool to advance racial, social, and environmental justice.

In 2008–2009, Allan received the “Keeper of the Flame” award from First Affirmative Financial Network for his commitment to positive impact through finance.

Allan enjoys time with family—five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren—along with nature, organic gardening, playing music, and community service. He has taught at-risk youth through “Guitars Not Guns” and provided pro-bono planning through the Financial Planning Association.

He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY® designations and is a member of FAFN, US SIF: The Sustainable Investment Forum, NAPFA, and the Financial Planning Association.
