  Thomas D. Mason joined Mason & Associates, Inc. in January 2015 as the Director of Business Development. Previously, he worked for a civil litigation firm in their financial services department. Within that department, he regularly handled cases involving the Uniform Commercial Code, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, California Consumer Legal Remedies Act, Unfair Business Practices Act, foreclosure litigation, alleged mortgage fraud, and other state and federal statutory and common law claims.

  Thomas has handled a range of real estate litigation and land use matters, from construction and quiet title claims to disputes among partners, disagreements between buyers and sellers, controversies between developers and contractors, insurance and warranty claims, and easement disputes.

  Thomas received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach. He received his law degree from California Western School of Law, and is an active member of the California State Bar Association.

  In his spare time, Thomas enjoys tutoring at risk youth, both at the high school and grammar school levels, helping them prepare for standardized testing. He is an avid golfer and enjoys playing basketball, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Thomas lives in Pasadena with his wife Jamie and son Ryan.
